Final 'Star Trek' poster finally lands online

The folks at MySpace released the final theatrical one-sheet for J.J. Abrams' upcoming "Star Trek," which is scheduled to land in theaters May 8, 2009. Dang, I will be moving cross-country that weekend and will have to wait a bit longer to see it.

Anyway, it's quite a simple poster, but there's something about it I actually really like. I've never been a huge "Trek" fan, but I'm definitely interested to see what Abrams has done with this thing, and especially how hardcore fans will react to it.

The plot of the movie chronicles the early days of Kirk and his crew on the Enterprise. Chris Pine, Eric Bana, Simon Pegg, Winona Ryder, Zoe Saldana, Kalr Urban, John Cho, Anton Yelchin, Bruce Greenwood and Leonard Nimoy star. Full poster follows after the jump.
