Raimi's 'Drag Me to Hell' gets a trailer

It's been quite some time since Sam Raimi last directed a horror flick, but now he's back in action. His "Drag Me to Hell" opens May 29, 2009, and here's the film's first trailer.

Sam Raimi and his brother Ivan wrote the script, which follows Christine, an ambitious L.A. loan officer (Alison Lohman) who denies a mysterious woman an extension on her home loan.

In retaliation, the old woman places the powerful curse of the Lamia on Christine, transforming her life into a living hell.

The trailer below sells "Hell" as "return to true horror," but I admit I'll remain skeptical about that until I've seen the film. The cinematography, however, looks fantastic.

"Drag Me to Hell" also stars Justin Long, Lorna Raver, Dileep Rao and David Paymer. Are you ready to step into Raimi's hell?
