Samuel L. Jackson to play Fury in many films

Watch out for Nick Fury!

Samuel L. Jackson recently signed a big deal to play Fury in a bunch of upcoming films, including "Iron Man 2" and potentially "Captain America," "Thor" and "The Avengers,"

According to Variety, this deal may even include a "S.H.I.E.L.D." movie, which is apparently in development already.

Jackson's Fury already showed up in a very brief scene at the very end of "Iron Man," during which he introduced himself to Tony Stark.

This comes as quite a surprise, because "Iron Man 2" has been experiencing several casting issues recently. Mickey Rourke has been rumored to play Crimson Dynamo, but a deal has not been reached. Emily Blunt was also in talks to star in the sequel.

Robert Downey Jr. will return as Stark, and Don Cheadle will replace Terence Howard. Jon Favreau is back to direct the film.
