Ellen DeGeneres joins 'Dog' voice cast

Ellen DeGeneres has joined the voice cast of Warner Bros.' upcoming animated feature "Dog Show."

According the Hollywood Reporter, Warner picked up the pitch by Alan Schoolcraft and Brent Simons, who also wrote "Master Mind," a DreamWorks Animation project featuring the voices of Tina Fey and Robert Downey Jr.

Not much is known about the plot at this stage, but the trade says the story follows a stray dog who shakes up a popular dog show.

John Glenn (screenwriter of "Eagle Eye") will produce the project with DeGeneres.

DeGeneres last voiced Dory in 2003's "Finding Nemo." Meanwhile, you can catch Ellen on "Ellen: The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
