'Ghostbusters III' ready to shoot soon?
According to Dan Aykroyd, it sure sounds like it...
The folks at the Boston Globe invited readers to ask Dan a few questions during a recent live chat session, and of course, one of the participants had to ask the BIG question: what's up with "Ghostbusters III"?
Dan, of course, kept it brief, and here is what he had to say about the project, which was already announced a while back:
"Script is commenced early summer. Hope to be in production by late fall 2009."
There you have it. Considering many actors have been spilling fake rumors about future projects over the past years, I'm not sure whether to believe this 100 percent.
Then again, Dan seems confident enough about it, and I am sure we'll get official word anytime soon anyway.
Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, the co-executive producers of "The Office," are working on the "Ghostbusters III" script, and as far as I know, the idea is to bring back the original cast members.
Go Bill Murray! Feel free to share your thoughts on "Ghostbusters III" below. I'm not sure whether a third flick is a good idea, but I sure love the previous two films.

I can see most of the originals, but I thought Rick Moranis swore off filming anything, especially a return to Ghostbusters.
