Rudd, Wilson to join Witherspoon in comedy

Paul Rudd and Owen Wilson are in negotiations to star in James L. Brooks' upcoming untitled comedy for Columbia Pictures.

Reese Witherspoon is already on board of the project, which focuses on a love triangle, according to Variety. Rudd and Wilson would be playing two men competing for Witherspoon's heart.

Other than that, not much is known about the film, which has the working title "How Do You Know?"

Brooks also directed "Spanglish," "Terms of Endearment" and "As Good as It Gets," and he hasn't done a film in almost five years.

Rudd recently starred in "Role Models." He will next be seen in "I Love You, Man." Wilson, one of the leads in "Marley & Me," will appear in "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian."
