Four 'Street Fighter' clips fail to impress
So, are you ready for another round of "Street Fighter" on the big screen? I am so NOT!
Four brand-new clips from Andrzej Bartkowiak's upcoming "Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li" just debuted online, and you can check them out below.
Sure, the footage includes plenty of action, but none of it is in any impressive. What we do get is plenty of "ughs," "arghs" and a bunch of terrible dialogue.
Based on the popular video game series, the film follows female fighter Chun-Li on her quest for justice. Kristin Kreuk, Michael Clarke Duncan, Taboo and Moon Bloodgood star. Neal McDonough plays Bison.
"Chun Li" will open Feb. 27, and I'm kind of dreading the flick already. Sure, I'll give it a fair chance, but what I've seen so far doesn't impress me a bit. Maybe you care more about this film? Let me know.

I Think those clips are COOL! Plus kristin is eh so hot,so!
You fail to impress, those clips were awesome!
Kristin Kreuk cant act this film does fail to impress
I think the clips look cool and the person who wrote the article is a douchebag
This is an epic WIN for me, and what sounds do YOU make when you fight? lol I AM SO THERE opening day
Actually, the more I see of this, the better it's starting to look. Chris Klien, however, does need some work. That clip with him talking in the office, started so well then looks off the camera, recanting his chase of Bison, and the whole "You never seen me dance" thing, very corny, but it still looks like this is going to be a hell of alot better than the 1994 Universal crap fest.
"Maybe you care more about this film? Let me know."
I do. And these clips vary from so-so to incredibly impressive. That being said, no one expects this to be everyone's cup of tea. This is a movie with a clear vision of what it is; and is succeeding as such.
george, you obviously have a long way to go... since when is one a douchebag for thinking a movie doesn't look impressive at all? If you got a brain, think for a second and try to think about it for a second. Oh wait, I guess that's too much to ask
The more I see of this movie the more I like it! I'll be in the theatre on the 27th!
Looks good to me. can't wait for it!!!!!!
I like the clips, maybe you only watch disney movies...
haha, that's the best I've heard all day:) No, I actually watch every single release there is, and YES, that includes disney movies.
Personal opinion: I agree and disagree with Franck...Yes the movie seems to have a good premise, and who DIDN'T love Street Fighter the Animated Movie (not the sad attempt at live action.) But...the acting is far overdone, and the costumes seem to step out of their realm. Vega...where's his classic disdain for his face being touched? Does he really have to grunt THAT much? (maybe they grabbed the sound from a different, much more risqué part of the movie? ;) ) anyways...I'll see it, but, I'm not getting my hopes up too high. And to Franck, I love how you put right in your article that you request opinion from those who may care more than you, but somehow people still feel the need to flame...dumb. Anyways, good article, and I'll give a final verdict later.
