Ratner says 'Beverly 4' gets R, but who cares?
I'm sure by now you've heard Brett Ratner will direct the fourth "Beverly Hills Cop" movie. Personally, I couldn't care less about this, but if you're excited about it, good for you.
We've heard plenty of rumors about the film's rating and acript over the past months, but now Ratner finally clarified some of the things that have been surfacing on the Web lately.
In an interview with MTV, Ratner promised the film will be rated R. “It’s a hard R,” he told MTV News.
He also said he's not going to call it "Beverly Hills Cop 4." Instead, he said it will be a "reinvention."
“I’m going to reintroduce it to a contemporary audience. I’m going to take the best of the first two films and put it into the new one,” he said.
To me, that sounds horrible. Furthermore, Ratner also said Eddie Murphy is a genuis and making this film is a dream for him. Well, I am glad someone out there is excited about it. Or are you thrilled as well?
