Nicholas Cage in 'Knowing' subway crash clip

Nicholas Cage will be heading out to prevent all sorts of disasters in "Knowing," Alex Proyas' latest sci-fi action thriller.

The film follows Cage as a man who discovers a mysterious letter with numbers inside a time capsule at an elementary school. After solving the puzzle, he realizes the letter predicts different kinds of catastrophes.

A first clip from the film has been released online, and it follows Cage as he tries to save people from an imminent subway crash.

The footage certainly boasts enough action, but it stops at the wrong moment; good strategy to make people want to see more.

"Knowing" opens March 20, 2009. You can also watch the trailer right here.
