Summit Entertainment today announced that David Slade's "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" will open in theaters and IMAX June 30, 2010. Now you can see your "Twilight" sweeties on the super big screen!

Richie Fay, Summit Entertainment's president of Domestic Theatrical Distribution, said moviegoers will have a "whole new way to experience this next installment of the series" with the IMAX experience.

"The IMAX release puts us on the event film calendar for 2010, and we're very excited to work with IMAX to bring a new kind of film to the IMAX theatre network," he said.

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner all return for "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse." Slade, who directed the film, also helmed "Hard Candy" and "30 Days of Night." I hope he adds some spice to this one.

Meanwhile, "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" has grossed $256 million domestically, and $499 million worldwide. That's nuts, folks!
