Earlier this week we got a good look at the first teaser poster for Jon Favreau's upcoming sequel "Iron Man 2," and now, Empire has released the international poster for the film that opens May 7, 2010.

International posters are often a tad more exciting than the domestic versions, but this one certainly isn't. To tell you the truth, I'm a bit disappointed. Check out the much better, more original U.S. poster here.

Robert Downey Jr. returns as Tony Stark, and he's got his hands full in "Iron Man 2." Don Cheadle stars as War Machine, Sam Rockwell plays Justin Hammer, and Mickey Rourke plays Whiplash.

Also on board are Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Samuel L. Jackson, Kate Mara, Clark Gregg, and Gwyneth Paltrow. I can't say it often enough: the first film ruled, and I'm way excited for more "Iron Man" action.
