First official 'Deathly Hallows' image debuts!

Image from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Earlier this year, we got a first but rather lame first look at Daniel Radcliffe in David Yates upcoming "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I," which is slated for a Nov. 19. 2010 release.

The folks at USA Today now provided the first official photo from the first part of the last "Harry Potter" flick, and you can see it above. It's not exactly a compelling shot. Ron seems much taller though, no?

Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Brendan Gleeson, Helena Bonham Carter and Alan Rickman return in the sequel, and as you know, "Deathly Hallows" will be divided in two parts, with No. 2 opening July 15, 2011.

Grint told USA Today the characters will be paranoid in the last films. They struggle to find their way and real identity in the Muggle world. Yates also directed the more recent "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince."

It may take a while before the next "Harry Potter" opens, but I'm excited. Never read the books, but the films always entertained me to the fullest extent. Plus, I really loved "Half-Blood Prince" as well.
