Trailer for Kevin Smith's 'Cop Out' looks lame

Kevin Smith has a new action comedy coming out soon, and right now, it looks like crap. The film is titled "Cop Out," and it stars Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan. You can check out the preview after the jump.
The film was originally called "A Couple of Dicks," but Warner Bros. thought the title was just too vulgar or something. In fact, Smith recently said he did not have much control over the film anyway.
Maybe that's why it looks lame. It follows two cops (Willis and Morgan) whose adventures include locating a stolen baseball card, rescuing a woman, and dealing with gangsters and their laundered money.
Sounds all funny, but judging by this trailer, it's seems more annoying than hilarious. I generally like Morgan and even Willis, but something about them here just looks awkward and, well... anything but funny.

Saw COP OUT at a test screening Monday night at the Bridge in Westchester. Willis, Morgan and Smith were all there... Hiding upstairs but watching from the back when the lights went down. I'll say this - The movie is funny boderline hilarious in places! the trailer sucks and doesn't do the movie any justice. It is filthy, funny and action packed. I really dug it and look forward to seeing it again. Sean William Scott steals every scene he's in and Tracy Morgan interrogating a perp in the beginning of the movie is the funniest opening I've seen in a long, long time.
