Sam Worthington is bagging a lot of movie deals out there at the moment, and the latest project he's attached to star in is "The Last Days of American Crime," based on Rick Remender's comicbook.
Variety says the story is set in the near future, when the U.S. government broadcasts a signal that makes it impossible for people to knowingly break the law. Sounds like an interesting sci-fi project.
No word yet on what Worthington's character will be like, but my guess is something goes wrong and he pretty much has to save everybody. Worthington recently starred in "Terminator: Salvation."
The Australian actor also has "Avatar" coming up. He will also soon be seen in "Clash of the Titans," and other future projects include "The Debt" and "Tell Me." Good for him; he's got what it takes to play enrgetic characters.
