Courteney Cox is excited to return to horror in the upcoming sequel "Scream IV," and the actress recently gave the Associated Press a short update on where she thinks her character will be in the fourth film.

"They're probably back living in Woodsboro," she said. "I think that he's probably still deputy, and I've had a lot of kids. I don't know. I'm probably miserable, and then I'm sure a lot of murdering will happen."

Is she serious? I don't know, and I don't care. I'm glad she's back as part of the original cast, and so is husband David Arquette and Neve Campbell, who played Sidney Prescott in the previous flicks.

Kevin Williamson is writing "Scream IV," and he recently said cinemagoers can expect many surprises. He said, "The thing about 'Scream 4' is that there are a lot of twists and turns, so I can't promise anything."

He also told PopWrap, "You have to be careful because 'Scary Movie' spoofed these films, so one of the things I'm excited about with 'Scream 4' is that, while we do lampoon and send up the genre, [we] make it incredibly scary. That's first and foremost."
