As it was excepted it dominated the box office both domestically and internationally it would fall down next domestically because of New Moon but it won't fall in the international market though I think .Thanks for the figure Frank.
2012 is a mind boggling, stupendous, father-of-all-disaster movies, which dwarfs the wildest bounds of imagination. It deserves 10 out of 10 for sheer brilliance, originality and the staggering scale on which it is done, never before seen on the big screen. A zillion thanks to the creative genius of Emmerich, whose Godzilla, Independence Day and Universal Soldier I thoroughly enjoyed several times over in proper threatres and on TV. I believe 2012 is also God's way of telling us, through Donald Neale Walsch, that time it running out for humankind, unless it restructures its priorities, based on unbridled corporate greed, corruption and moral pollution. I must also compliment Emmerich for devoting the initial footage to India and highlighting the dire warnings of an Indian astrophycist about the impending catastrophe. We Indians simply loved the movie with all our exuberance.
