I doubt this is a good idea: Jamie Foxx and Martin Lawrence will star as female characters in Screen Gems' upcoming comedy "Sheneneh and Wanda," which Foxx will write and co-produce.
The film stems from a movie trailer parody the two acrtors did for the BET Awards. They got some positive buzz out of it, and next thing you know, they're planning a big feature film.
Variety says the comedy follows Sheneneh and Wanda, two independent women spending their time robbing banks. I know, I know, it really doesn't sound all too original, right?
Foxx is currently onscreen in "Law Abiding Citizen," and let me tell you right now, as much as I love him as an actor, I just don't see him play a "White Chicks" kind of character.
As for Lawrence, he's had his share of total big-screen suckers recently. He will soon star in the U.S. remake of "Death at a Funeral."
