It's a question I've also been asking myself occasionally: What the heck is going on with "The Brazilian Job," the potential sequel to the highly entertaining 2003 action flick "The Italian Job"?

Director F. Gary Gray is currently promoting his new film "Law Abiding Citizen," and Coming Soon got a chance to ask him what he thinks about the future of "The Brazilian Job."

First, Gray said it all depends on what Paramount plans to do with the project. "I think it's really just about getting the material in the right place," he told CS.

That said, he would love to return as a director: "If you're on a movie, it depends on scheduling, that whole thing, but I certainly hope so. I loved directing that movie. It was a lot of fun..."

I enjoyed the first film and wouldn't mind a sequel at all, provided the original cast agrees to return. Come on, it was a fun movie, don't you think?
