'Up' still a big hit at international box office

Pixar's animated adventure "Up" continued its overseas box office reign this weekend, scoring another $20.2 million from ticket sales in 26 markets for an international total gross of $324.9 million.

Disney also took the No. 2 spot, as "G-Force" picked up $8.3 million for a cume of $138.5 million. Following in third place with $7.9 million was "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" ($44.3 million total).

At No. 4, French adventure "Lucky Luke" opened with $5.9 million in just one market. Coming in close behind in fifth place was "The Ugly Truth," which bagged $5.4 million for a cume of $101.8 million.

New entries included "Saw VI," which generated $5 million in eight markets, and "Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant," which pulled $2.9 million in three territories.

Other results from the overseas box office: "Fantastic Mr. Fox" debuted with $2.5 million; "Inglourious Basterds" picked up another $4.5 million; "Couples Retreat" took home $3.9 million; and  "Julie & Julia" cooked up $3.2 million.

Finally the movie is doing good in international box office being at No.1 .I thought when the movie will be released in international market it will automatically climb to no.1 spot but it didn't.It made more than 100 million buy not staying at no.1 at the international box office that's strange.Now I wanna see how Michale Jackson's movie fares at box office I think it will be no.1 at international box office I wanna see how much does it makes in it's 2 week limited run.I am off my way to see it plz Franck Tabouring gives update whenever you get the news about This is it collections and opening day record of the movie.
