The cast for Paul Weitz's upcoming "Meet the Parents" sequel "Little Fockers" is growing, as Laura Dern has boarded the project starring Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Teri Polo and Blythe Danner.

At this point, plot details are still somewhat kept under wraps, but the third film in the comedy series that also includes "Meet the Fockers" will follow the main characters as they deal with the birth of kids.

The Hollywood Reporter says Dern will play the headmistress of the elementary school the Fockers' kids are going to. The cast also includes Jessica Alba, who's playing an attractive pharmaceutical rep.

Dern, who's known for her role as Dr. Ellie Sattler in the "Jurassic Park" films, recently starred in "Recount." Her credits also include "Inland Empire" and "Happy Endings." Good to have her back on the big screen.
