The release date of Kenny Ortega's Michael Jackson concert documentary "This Is It" is approaching, and two new clips from the film have debuted on the Web. You can check out the musical pieces below.
The first clip shows Jackson rehearsing his "The Way You Make Me Feel," reminding the crew he has to cue a specific beat. Clip No. 2 shows the late pop star practicing some of his moves on stage.
The majority of the film's footage was shot in June 2009 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. The film will include scenes drawn from hours of rehearsal and behind-the-scenes footage.
"This Is It" is already a top movie on Fandango, and although it's scheduled for a two-week run in theaters only, my guess is Sony will extend it depending on the response. Disney just did the same with 'Toy Story/Toy Story 2."
Tickets for the event are on sale right now, so get them here. The film opens Oct. 28, 2009, and advance screenings will take place October 27.
