'Up' reclaims No. 1 spot at overseas box office

Pixar's spectacular animated adventure "Up" flew back to the top of the international box office this weekend with a solid $21 million in ticket sales after a strong U.K. debut ($9.7 million). The film's overseas total currently stands at $257.1 million.

At a distant No. 2, Quentin Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds" took home another $8.5 million, lifting its cumulative gross to $154.7 million. Following in third place with $7.9 million was last week's winner "The Ugly Truth," which brought its total to $80.5 million.

Meanwhile, Disney's 3D action flick "G-Force" bagged $7.8 million in fourth place, lifting its international cumulative gross to $111.4 million.

Alejandro Amenabar's new epic drama "Agora" opened at No. 5 with $7.3 million from ticket sales in Spain. The historical drama stars Rachel Weisz and Max Minghella.

"Surrogates" missed the top five and took home $6 million for a $39.1 million total. "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" grabbed $4.6 million for a cume of 28.5 million.

Other results from the overseas box office: "Couples Retreat" picked up $3 million; "Zombieland" pulled $4.6 million; "District 9" collected $3.1 million; and "The Final Destination" generated $3.3 million.
