Dwayne Johnson does another family film, and it looks awful. I'm talking about Fox's upcoming Michael Lembeck-directed comedy "Tooth Fairy," which today received its first official trailer. See it after the jump.
In the film, Johnson plays Derek Thompson, a mean but talented minor-league hockey player who carries the nickname "Tooth Fairy" because he takes pleasure in ruthlessly knocking out his opponents’ teeth.
Thompson is also someone who doesn't believe in fairy tales, so in a sudden turn of events, he is ordered to real tooth fairy duty, which includes wearing wings and pretty much everything else coming with the job.
Believe it or not, but Billy Crystal, Ashley Judd, Ryan Sheckler, Stephen Merchant and Julie Andrews co-star. The trailer below looks like crap, and I'm bored out of my mind already. "Tooth" opens Jan. 22, 2010.
