Oscar winner Jamie Foxx is the latest to join the cast of Todd Phillips' upcoming Warner Bros. comedy "Due Date," which also stars Robert Downey Jr., funny guy Zach Galifianakis and Michelle Monaghan.
Downey Jr. slips into the role of a soon-to-be father who embarks on a road trip while trying to reach his destination before his baby is born. He hitches a ride with Galifianakis, who plays a college slacker.
The Hollywood Reporter says Foxx plays a Downey Jr.'s friend, who previously dated his wife (Monaghan) and secretly keeps in touch with her. Uh-oh! Further details are kept under wraps at this point.
Foxx was last seen in "The Soloist," in which he also co-starred with Downey Jr. He will soon star in "Law Abiding Citizen" and "Valentine's Day." I'm quite excited about this cast right now. Sounds really good!
