Wow, Sylvester Stallone is lining up quite the cast for his upcoming action flick "The Expendables."
Yesterday we learned Forest Whitaker is in talks to join the project, and just recently, Variety reported Mickey Rourke has signed on to join Jason Statham, Sly, Jet Li and Randy Couture.
Written by Stallone, the movie follows a group of mercenaries who infiltrate a South American country to overthrow its dictator and free the population.
Rourke is set to play a ruthless arms dealer who supplies the gang of mercenaries with what they need.
Rourke is currently onscreen in "The Wrestler," a film he has been getting plenty of praise for. He will also be seen in Géla Babluani's upcoming remake "13."
Go get 'em Mickey!
