Watch Kevin James in two 'Paul Blart' clips

I love Kevin James on "King of Queens," I really do, but his couple of appearances on the big-screen didn't win mer over at all.

Okay, he was funny in "Hitch," but 2007's "I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry" was pretty dreadul and anything but funny.

Now James returns in the family friendly comedy "Paul Blart: Mall Cop," and to be honest, what I've seen so far is not at all hilarious.

In the film, James plays a dedicated security guard who tries to prevent a gang of criminals from taking over the mall. Sounds like a cool idea, but it doesn't look that great at this stage.

Check out two new clips from the movie after the jump. I personally don't think there is anything funny about James crawling on the floor etc, but who knows, maybe your kids will get a kick out of it. "Blart" opens Jan. 16, 2009.
