• Actress Isabelle Huppert is set to serve as the jury president of the 62nd edition of the Cannes Film Festival. "I've had a long relationship with Cannes and this next meeting will definitely seal my love for the Festival and thus for global cinema," she said. (Variety)

• Hugo Weaving, Hugh Jackman and Ryan Kwanten are expected to join the voice cast of Zack Snyder's upcoming animated film "Guardians of Ga'Hoole," based children's books by Kathryn Lasky. • Myriad Pictures is developing a big-screen version of the horror comic book series "The Night Projectionist," according to Variety. Set during a Draculathon in a movie theater on Halloween Eve, the story focuses on a bunch of moviegoers who face real vampires after finding themselves locked inside the theater.
