Broken Lizard's Jay Chandrasekhar is set to helm Bold Films' upcoming comedy "Opposites Attract."
No detailed plot information has been released yet, but the Hollywood Reporter describes the flick as "a body-switching comedy involving a young couple who must 'walk a mile in each other's shoes' in order to make their relationship work."
Not exaclty a new concept.
That said, Chandrasekhar and co. are apparently shooting for an R rating, so don't expect any harmless, cute talk à la "Freaky Friday."
Chandrasekhar's directing credits include "Super Troopers," "Club Dread" and "The Dukes of Hazzard." Broken Lizard's latest comedy is "The Slammin' Salmon," and a "Super Troopers 2" is also in the works.
I personally don't like the Broken Lizard flicks at all, but that's just me. Who knows, maybe this one will actually turn funny.
