The Hollywood Reporter says Universal is currently working on the sequel to Spike Lee's 2006 hit "Inside Man." Terry George, director of "Hotel Rwanda,"is apparently in negotiations to write the screenplay.
Specific details about the follow-up's plot are unknown at this point, but the story will not pick up immediately after the first film. Denzel Washington and Clive Owen seem interested to reprise their roles, Lee said. The director will return behind the camera, with Brian Grazer back as producer.
Lee's "Miracle at St. Anna" is scheduled to open Sept.26, 2008.
