EW’s Hollywood Insider reports “The X-Files” creator Chris Carter was hospitalized Tuesday for exhaustion.

Carter spent the last couple of years working on several projects, including this summer’s “The X-Files: I Want to Believe” and his upcoming drama “Fencewalker.”
