Franck Tabouring Director Zack Snyder has made a deal with Electronic Arts to develop three original video games, according to Variety.
After the success of the helmer’s graphic novel adaptation “300,” EA hopes Snyder’s name will trigger more people to buy their games. Specific details about any game ideas have not been announced yet.
This is certainly a great opportunity for Snyder, who may get a chance to turn his games into big-screen blockbusters if they turn out to be successful enough.
"Zack Snyder has a fresh and bold creative style that resonates with our core audience," EA’s Frank Gibeau told Variety.
Snyder, whose career took off with the solid “Dawn of the Dead” remake, is currently working on the post-production of “Watchmen,” a highly anticipated release scheduled for March 6, 2009.
