Anne Hathaway has signed on to star in “The Opposite of Love” for 20th Century Fox, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The trade says the film centers on a young, commitment-phobic attorney (Hathaway) who finds her well-constructed life coming apart when she rejects her ready-for-marriage boyfriend.

“The Opposite Love” is based on the novel by Julie Buxbaum. Kara Holden is penning the adaptation.  

Hathaway is quite the busy actress these days. Most recently, she starred alongside Steve Carell in “Get Smart.” Her upcoming projects include Jonathan Demme’s “Rachel Getting Married,” “Passengers” and “Bride Wars.”
