Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego is in talks to direct the big-screen adaptation of A.N. Wilson’s novel “A Jealous Ghost,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Kirsten Dunst is producing and starring in the Paramount Vantage project. Megan Holley wrote the screenplay.
Wilson’s book centers on a young woman who heads to London to write a dissertation on a classic ghost tale. As she progresses in her research, however, she finds that certain events in her life reflect those in the story.
Lopez-Gallego worked on several short films and most recently directed “King of the Hill.” Dunst was last seen in “Spider-Man 3.” She will next star in “How to Lose Friends & Aientate People.”
