‘Ozzy Osbourne’ film in the works
Jack Osbourne, son of famous rocker Ozzy, is currently developing an untitled documentary on the former Black Sabbath frontman, according to Variety.
Jack and his mother Sharon are financing and executive producing the project, which Jordan Tappis is writing and Mike Piscitelli is directing.
Osborne decided to make the documentary to honor the life and career of his father, whose 60th birthday is Dec. 3. He said there’s a lot more to be told about the rock legend.
"MTV couldn’t show the darkness and so they used all the goofy things, but that’s not really who he was at the time," Osbourne told Variety.
Jack is currently gathering archived footage and planning interviews to get the ball rolling. He said he’ll put everything together before getting in touch with potential distributors.
The Osbourne family recently shared its everyday lifestyle with audiences in MTV’s reality series “The Osbournes.”
Sounds like an interesting project. A doc on Ozzy is definitely something I would want to check out. How about you? Like Jack‘s idea?
