Diesel, Cohen to return for ‘XXX’ sequel

Although “xXx: State of the Union” was a major disaster, Columbia Pictures thinks it’s time to make another “xXx” sequel and bring back Vin Diesel, according to Variety.
Yes, you read right. A third film about the extreme sports athlete recruited by the government is in early developmental stages, with Diesel and director Rob Cohen back in the game.
Cohen directed Diesel in the first film of the series in 2002, pulling in $106.2 million domestically. But they both refused to return for the 2005 sequel, which starred Ice Cube and totally crashed at the box office.
Although the third flick has no script yet, the working title is “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.” Plot details are unknown at this point.
Cohen most recently directed “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.” Diesel is currently onscreen in “Babylon A.D.” He will next be seen in Justin Lin’s “Fast & Furious.”
While I pretty much enjoyed the silliness of the first “xXx,” I’m not so sure this is such a great idea. I personally think Diesel agreed to return as Xander Cage because he desperately needs a hit. Oh well, we’ll see how it turns out.

i liked xxx very much, because of the over-the-top action, stunts and the fact that rammstein appeared in it. and i thought vin diesel did a pretty good job as xander cage. i am not saying vin diesel is a great movie actor, but he was pretty well type-casted for this role.
i didn't like xxx2 especially due to the performance of ice cube: he couldn't surpass the "coolness" diesel had, but tried so hard he ended up sounding like teenager in its rebellion phase.
i'm curious enough to see what cohen and diesel will make of xxx3 to actually look forward to it.
i thunk the plot/sequel should involve another AHAB
I thought xxx2 was bad because Ice Cube didn't look or sound as badass as Vin did in the first movie
Hell yes Xander Cage should return, and Vin Diesel should def play the part, finally these people realize that they need to bring back Vin to make another hit xxx movie. This movie better come out cause I can't wait, finally the badass is back
IT'S ABOUT TIME
They would have to come up with somnething that makes sense to his return, reason being that in the second movie they stated that he was shot and killed in bora bora.
wait a minute all i know what they say in movie xxx part 2 that guy say will have next agent in xxx would be a female but whatver they say it seen they may have break their rule what they have say that vin was kill u know but why would they want vin back for next third movie of xxx let people vote to se how they want man in xxx but what about female whoever she is can be hard kick ass ,hardcore, hottie female in the legend barely me if yall not understand what i say why not have asia female join in xxx part 3? i wont say asai female name .... hope they would have though of that whatt hey say in xxx.2 next female
