Guy Ritchie chats about career

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Guy Ritchie spoke about his latest crime flick "RocknRolla," his career and some of his upcoming projects, including a modern version of "Sherlock Holmes."

When asked about "RocknRolla" being a return to his roots, Ritchie told THR:

"For one, it's easy for me to find a market for those films. And I enjoy making them, and no one else seems to making those kinds of movies. I was also interested in what is happening in London and how it's been changing."

For those of you unfamiliar with "RocknRolla," it's an action flick in which London's toughest criminals go head to head in the race for a bunch of money. Gerard Butler, Gemma Arterton, Thandie Newton, Jeremy Piven, Tom Wilkinson and Idris Elba star. The film opens in the U.S. Oct. 8, 2008. Read the whole interview here.
