Eva Mendes says ‘Ghost Rider 2’ not necessary

At this stage, the only one excited about a potential “Ghost Rider” sequel seems to be Nicholas Cage.

In a recent interview with MTV, Cage said a follow-up to the 2007 action flick could take Ghost Rider all the way to Europe. You can read about that right here.

But what about Eva Mendes? Would she be interested in returning as Roxanne Simpson? According to what she recently told MTV, Mendes doesn’t think a sequel is necessary in the first place.

“No, I think ‘Ghost Rider’ had its moment. I don’t know about a sequel, but I don’t think it needs one,” she said.

Despite this statement, Mendes didn’t really say no to the possibility of her making a return. After all, she said she would do anything with Nicolas Cage.

Anyway, I just hope we won’t have to sit through another “Ghost Rider.” And if they really do end up making a sequel, I know for sure that I at least won’t care who’s in it.

What about you? Are you a fan of the big-screen version of “Ghost Rider”? Or do you think bringing him back would be a big mistake? Comment below.
