• Great news for all Kevin Smith fans! The Classification and Rating Appeals Board overturned the NC-17 rating given to Smith's upcoming comedy "Zack and Miri Make a Porno." The film is now officially rated R and opens Oct. 31, 2008. Awesome!
• According to Bloody-Disgusting.com, Natalie Portman will take over the lead role in the remake of Dario Argento's horror classic "Suspiria." David Gordon Green ("Pineapple Express") is interested in directing the flick. I personally don't want to see a remake.
• Music video director Samuel Bayer is set to direct Universal's upcoming action thriller "Fiasco Heights," with Michael Bay producing. In the film, a gunman teams up with a gambler to find a mysterious briefcase. (The Hollywood Reporter)
• Actor Eric Bana ("Munich") is making his directorial debut with "Love the Beast," according to Variety. The documentary examines the actor's passion for a 1974 Ford Falcon Coupe." Sounds interesting.
