Rob Cohen spills ideas for ‘Mummy 4’

Although “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor” just opened last week, director Rob Cohen is already thinking about a fourth installment in the popular series that started with Stephen Sommers’ “The Mummy” in 1999.
Whether there will be a fourth film all depends on how well this sequel ends up doing, Cohen told MTV News in a recent interview. But considering the film already took home $101.9 million worldwide this past weekend, chances are good we’ll see more mummy action in the near future.
Cohen also revealed some ideas he has for the next installment, including the relocation of the story to Latin America. “We now have it clear that the ‘Mummy’ franchise can travel,” he told MTV.
There’s one other thing Cohen talked about in the interview, but before I go on about it, please beware the following sentence contains a BIG spoiler (if you haven’t seen “Tomb of the Dragon Emperor” yet).

I think thhey should do one based on a roman mummy, or something around that time.

i believe they should keep on making mummies i personly loved them all and i cant stop thinking about them i recon they should make 1 in figi when evey and ric go on a honeymoon and they are court up in more mummy trouble or somethin but i Rob cohen is a total genis i for everybodies sake that there is another mummy with the real charecters inclueding brendan fraser that is so hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey remember in the third, Evy's brother later went on to Peru? And then they found mummy's there? Peru's in Latin America... Who knows?
OMG I saw that part in the movie where he gets healed with the water and my brain was like OMG IS HE IMMORTAL NOW?!?! Then I looked it up on my computer and I found out I was right!!! HAHAHA!!!!!!!!! I saw it with the director's commentary and he said something about the diamond that Jonathan has having more powers than just what it did during the 3rd movie. Can't wait till another one and the second girl was right Brendan Frasier is hot!
