Woody Harrelson has signed on to star in Ruben Fleischer’s upcoming horror comedy “Zombieland,” The Hollywood Reporter announced earlier today.
In the film written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, Harrelson will play Albuquerque, one of several survivors who struggle to get by in a world dominated by zombies.
Reese and Wernick’s credits include 2003’s television series “The Joe Schmo Show.” As for Fleischer, this is his first big-screen project as a director.
Harrelson was last seen in “Sleepwalking.” He is currently filming “2012” for Roland Emmerich.
I say go Woody go! Now that you showed us how to play basketball, show us how to kill a zombie.
By the way, did you know Harrelson won an MTV Movie Award for the best kiss in “Indecent Proposal”?
