Franck Tabouring The release date of Jason Frieberg and Aaron Seltzer's latest spoof "Disaster Movie" is nearing, and we're bombarded with lame film clips no one really wants to see. Wait. Let me take that back. As a matter of fact, far too many people are still seeing these dreadful flicks. Anyway, for those of you who can't resist the lame humor of these guys, here are four new clips from the upcoming disaster, which will hit Aug. 29, 2008.

Friedberg and Seltzer are worse than Uwe Boll. Boll at least has some sort of independent wealth and acknowledges he's a bad moviemaker. These two make their movies with unironic stupidity and get their money straight from the box office (not hard because they only cost $30 million a pop). God willing, people will still have the taste of "Tropic Thunder" in their mouths so that this movie will be their downfall.
Playing these clips disabled my sound card. This is not a good omen.
Why hasn't the world tired of these 'Movie' movies? I gave up after the second Scary Movie. There's always been a market for spoof/parody movies, but the genre is just getting stale.
From what I understand, it all holds onto opening boxoffice ratings and intake. If a movie makes even slighlty over what they spent making it, then it's considered a success.
Plus, you have all these middle school kids looking for the next PG-13/R rated movie with stupid humor and bad sexual references. These companies seem to push out something each year that they know wont cost them but loads of cash, and can also bank off of it on DVD sales.
