Guy Ritchie talks 'Sherlock Holmes'

Ritchie's latest action flick "RocknRolla" isn't due in theaters until Oct. 31, 2008, but the director is already working on "Sherlock Holmes," a new take on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s fictional super detective.

In a recent interview with USAToday, Ritchie said the flick should be ready to hit in 2010. "It will be a very big production, visceral and intellectual," he told the newspaper.

As far as the cast is concerned, Ritchie already got Robert Downey Jr. to board the project. Apparently, Downey Jr. got involved with the project through his wife Susan, who worked with producer Joel Silver on Ritchie’s “RocknRolla.”
