Memorable Trailers #1 - 'The Island'

Welcome to the very first edition of The Screening Log's "Memorable Trailers" series, a collection of movie trailers I thought were totally awesome when I first saw them. Please note that this feature only focuses on the quality of the films' trailers and not the movies themselves.

Today, I picked the teaser trailer for Michael Bay's 2005 action flick "The Island," which starred Ewan McGregor, Scarlett Johansson, Djimon Hounsou and Sean Bean, among others. Although the film itself didn't really win me over, I have to admit the trailer left a strong mark on me.

Sit back, relax, and check out the first of our "Memorable Trailers." We'll make frequent updates to this series, so be sure to check back regularly.

Very good trailer. Enjoyed the movie too. Must say that I loved the use of the piece "I am Lincoln" by Steve Jablonsky from the score of The Island in the trailer to Elizabeth: The Golden Age, which I consider to be a very good trailer.
