They may have had a troubled relationship in Adrian Lyne's 2002 thriller "Unfaithful," but this time, Richard Gere and Diane Lane share a little more love on the big screen. In George C. Wolfe's upcoming romantic drama "Nights in Rodanthe," they play two individuals who are struggling with their own crises and eventually turn to each other for comfort. As you may have expected, the film is based on a novel by Nicholas Sparks.

Yahoo! on Wednesday released an extended version of the trailer, which you can fall in love with just above. Clocking in at four minutes, it shows a little bit too much for my taste. The movie itself looks like just the kind of mature romance you would expect from Sparks, but I generally don't like trailers to tell me the whole story beforehand. The films opens Sept. 26, 2008.
