Danny Huston, Shawn Roberts and Bojana Novakovic are the latest to join Martin Campbell’s upcoming thriller “Edge of Darkness,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Mel Gibson and Robert De Niro already boarded the Warner Bros. project, which heads into principal photography later this month. William Monahan and Andrew Bovell wrote the script.

“Darkness” stars Gibson as a homicide detective who discovers his daughter’s (Novakovic) secret life after she’s murdered on the steps of his house. De Niro plays an operative sent to clean up any kind of evidence.

As for Huston, he stars as a businessman, while Roberts takes over the role of the daughter’s boyfriend.

Huston most recently starred in “30 Days of Night.” He will next be seen in Robert B. Weide’s comedy “How to Lose Friends & Alienate People.”

Roberts’ acting credits include “X-Men” and “Diary of the Dead.” He’s also starring Chris Columbus’ upcoming comedy “I Love You, Beth Cooper.”

Novakovic will star in Sam Raimi’s upcoming horror flick “Drag Me to Hell.”
