One of the five American flicks to compete for the Golden Lion at this year's Venice Film Festival is Darren Aronofsky's sports drama "The Wrestler," in which Mickey Rourke plays a pro wrestler who risks his life by challenging his big rival for one final match. Evan Rachel Wood and Marisa Tomei co-star.

The guys over at Bad Taste recently got a hold of some new pictures from the upcoming film, and you can see one of them just above. For the rest, click right here. Right now I'm waiting for a first trailer for the film, but from what I've seen in pics so far, Rourke seems to be the ideal guy to play this lead. Let's hope this flick will attract more attention than Aronofsky's "The Fountain."
