Rob Cohen’s “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor” opens nationwide Aug. 1, 2008, which means it’s time for Universal to step up promotion for the third installment in the popular series that began with Stephen Sommers’ “The Mummy” in 1999.

Below you can watch two brand-new TV spots from the upcoming adventure starring Brendan Fraser, Jet Li, Luke Ford and Maria Bello. As usual, most of the footage comes straight from the film’s trailer, but if you watch closely enough you’ll be able to spot a few new images as well.
