Sam Shepard, Rosanna Arquette, Jordi Molla and Vincent Perez have signed on to star in Baltasar Kormakur’s upcoming thriller “Run for Her Life,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. Diane Kruger and Dermont Mulroney are already on board.

The film centers on two parents who travel to Mexico to get a lung transplant for their dying daughter. What they didn’t know before agreeing to the operation is that the organs are forcefully taken from other people.

Shepard will play a district attorney who had an illegal heart transplant himself. Arquette stars as a pediatrician, while Perez plays a mysterious doctor.

Shepard most recently starred in “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.” He will next be seen in “The Accidental Husband.”
