friendsrumorsfalse.jpgLast week the Daily Mail posted a story about the possibility of a “Friends” movie, but as it turns out, those rumors were indeed just rumors.

In the article, a source told the Daily Mail that Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer are all eager to reprise their roles from the TV show for a big-screen version.

According to OK! Magazine, that’s just completely false. Soon after the Daily Mail published the story, representatives of some of the aforementioned actors stepped forward to deny the rumors.

Apparently, Matthew Perry’s and David Schwimmer’s reps said that nobody is talking about a “Friends” movie at this stage, while a spokesperson for Jennifer Aniston said she knew nothing about such a project either. Click here to read what they had to say about it.

Well there you have it. At least for now, the friends are not considering a return on the big screen.
