Now that Quentin Tarantino’s WWII drama “Inglorious Bastards” has found a home at Universal, it’s time to look for the cast, and according to EW, Brad Pitt is already in talks to star as a central character.
Although none of this is officially confirmed at this stage, EW says Pitt’s representatives admit the actor is already in negotiations to play Lieut. Aldo Raine.
In another EW article, an insider who’s read the script says it’s “a reminder that Quentin is one of the best writers working today. It's not perfect, but it's one you hope he gets to do exactly the way he wants.”
Sounds pretty good to me. And as for Pitt as one of the leads, it’ll certainly be interesting to see how he performs under the direction of the great Tarantino. After all, the story is said to be ultraviolent.
Let’s just hope everything works out so we can see the flick sometime next year. Are you excited about it? Sound off below.
